o a strong, efficient, well-run health system;
o a system for financing health services;
o access to essential medicines and technologies;
o a sufficient capacity of well-trained, motivated health workers (WHO, 2014)
While Australia has a universal health care system, health inequalities and/or inequities exist within the system.
