As we round out the final week I want to share with you a short video reminding you about the importance of self-care and that what we do in our profession to make a difference in the lives of others can create compassion fatigue. Moral distress that comes with the territory of our nursing profession includes insurmountable types of ethical dilemmas that you might be faced when dealing with patients, policy and organizational finance matters. This can build up causing depression, burnout, and in some cases separating from the nursing profession all together. What have you learn?
